LEARN MOREOne person has been arrested and 26 wraps of class A drugs have been seized after police officers spotted a suspected drug deal in Stowmarket.
Officers in plain clothes were on patrol on Sunday, when they saw what they believed to be a drug deal taking place.
They caught up with the vehicle at the level crossing in Regent Street, before detaining the occupants at the roadside.
The driver fled the scene, but officers were able to arrest the passenger and seize the wraps of class A drugs, which are believed to have a street value of £2,600.
