Firefighters called to blaze on grounds of Stowmarket High School

Emergency crews have been tackling a fire on the grounds of Stowmarket High School this evening.
Firefighters were called to reports of the blaze near the school at about 5.17pm.
A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was not in a school building, but a pile of rubbish that was "well alight".
The crews, from Stowmarket and Elmswell, had got the fire under control and started leaving the scene at about 6.11pm.
