Crews called to scene of garage fire in Chapel Farm Lane, Thornham Parva

Firefighters tackled a garage blaze in a Suffolk village in the early hours of this morning.

Four crews - from Eye, Stradbroke and Diss - were sent to the scene of the fire in Thornham Parva's Chapel Farm Lane at about 1.43am.

A fire service spokesman said: "Crews, including two firefighters in breathing apparatus, used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

"There were no casualties."

Crews left the scene at about 3.45am.
