Police arrest four people following series of burglaries at commercial premises including in Semer and Stowupland




Police have arrested four people following a string of burglaries at commercial premises over a five month period.

Three men and one woman were arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of burglary following a series of incidents reported between July and November - this includes burglaries taking place in Semer and Stowupland in October.

Items stolen during the incidents include plant machinery, jewellery and power tools.

They were taken to Bury St Edmunds Police investigation Centre for questioning and have all since been released on bail.

A man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s are due to return to police on February 18, while a man in his 30s is to return on February 16 and a man in his 20s is to return on February 17.
