A garage and garden shed were broken into in separate incidents in Stowmarket.

In the first, a garage was burgled in The Crescent in the early hours of Sunday, May 23 between 3.45am and 3.49am.

An unknown person gained entry by forcing an electric door and a Stihl disc cutter was stolen from inside.

The crime reference number is 37/26942/21.

In the second incident, a garden shed in Bridge Street was broken into between 6pm Saturday, May 22 and 2.30pm Sunday, May 23.

A lock was forced off the shed but nothing appears to have been stolen.
