Pitta Gyro opens in Station Road E, Stowmarket, offering major discount to first customers

A Greek restaurant and takeaway is opening today and offering its first customers a major discount.

Pitta Gyro will be welcoming customers in Station Road E, Stowmarket, from noon with an opening day offer of 25 per cent off on all purchases.

The restaurant takes its name from the traditional Greek wrap which can be ordered with chicken, lamb and pork as well a vegan option.

Other items on the menu include souvlaki, halloumi and kebabs.

The premises, next to The Mill, was previously occupied by The Shack which closed in October – just four months after opening.

Pitta Gyro had to push back the opening day due to a maintenance problem which has now been resolved.

It will be open everyday from noon to 10pm with Friday and Saturday open for an extra hour until 11pm.
