Inquest into sudden death of 27-year-old Stonham Aspal man opens at Suffolk Coroner's Court

LEARN MOREAn inquest has opened into the death of a 27-year-old engineer from Stonham Aspal, who contracted a blood clot days after receiving the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.
Suffolk Coroners' Court heard that Jack Last died at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge on April 20 last year, weeks after being diagnosed with cerebral thrombosis.
Opening the inquest into his death today, coroner Nigel Parsley noted that Mr Last had received the Oxford-AstraZeneca on March 30, 2021.
Within days, he developed a headache and began uncontrollably vomiting.
On April 6, he was diagnosed with cerebral thrombosis.
Inquest proceedings are set to continue in August.
