More news, no ads

All lines have reopened after a person was hit by a train this afternoon between Stowmarket and Norwich.

This comes after Greater Anglia said at around 3.30pm that services running to and from Norwich and Stowmarket may be cancelled, delayed or revised after the incident.

The company warned that disruption was expected until further notice.

At 5.38pm Greater Anglia confirmed the lines are now fully open, but said train services may still be cancelled, delayed or revised.

A spokesperson said: "Network Rail & emergency services have reopened the line allowing trains to start running, but there will still be disruption while we work to get trains running to the timetable."
