A1120 in Stonham Aspal, near Stowmarket, shut after two-vehicle crash

A major road was shut after a crash between a lorry and a car.

Police were called to the incident on the A1120, in Stonham Aspal, near Stowmarket, at 11.10am.

The ambulance service also attended the scene.

The road was blocked for some time while emergency services waited for recovery to arrive.

One person was injured, but the extent of their injuries is not known.

Suffolk Highways was notified of a fuel spillage.

Officers left the scene at around 2.00pm.
