Scott Jackson, of Wattisfield Road, Walsham-le-Willows, charged with rape after incident in Norwich

A man has been charged with rape after an incident in a city.

Scott Jackson, 34, of Wattisfield Road, Walsham-le-Willows, is accused of the rape of a female over the age of 16.

Police received reports of an incident in Norwich last Sunday.

After an investigation, a man was arrested on Saturday and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Jackson appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court yesterday where he was remanded in custody to appear before the city’s crown court on October 28.

No plea was entered.
