Steven Barnes, 37, charged with possession of bladed article and shop theft following arrest in Stowmarket

A man has been charged with two offences after being arrested in a Suffolk town.

Steven Barnes, 37, was arrested in Stowmarket on Thursday, April 3 and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre.

He has been charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place and theft from shop.

Following his appearance at court today, Barnes has been remanded into custody.
