Man in 50s dies after A14 motorbike crash in Tothill, Stowmarket

A man in his 50s has died after being involved a serious motorbike crash on the A14.

The incident was just after noon on Saturday at junction 49 in Tothill, Stowmarket, and saw a large response from emergency services including an air ambulance which landed on the nearby roundabout.

Three ambulances attended and Suffolk Police closed the eastbound exit slip road for some time.

The motorcyclist was taken to Royal Papworth Hospital by land ambulance.
