SuffolkNews Podcast: Body of man found in Stowmarket at church graveyard near Violet Hill Road
In today's podcast, the body of a man has been found in a church graveyard in Stowmarket.
Police were alerted by the ambulance service at about 12.40pm yesterday, reporting that a man had been found dead in a graveyard near Violet Hill Road.
Next, two motorists who had travelled from Birmingham were stopped in Bury St Edmunds and arrested on suspicion of multiple offences.
In a tweet this morning, a Norfolk & Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team spokesman said a vehicle was stopped in Bury on Wednesday which was suspected to have been used in crime.
And finally, a Suffolk football-mad Chelsea FC fan who had to wait more than two years for a chance to be a club mascot realised a dream at the weekend by stepping on to the pitch with his mum’s favourite player.
Josh Forde, from Culford near Bury St Edmunds, took to Chelsea FC’s Stamford Bridge turf with club and England midfielder Mason Mount when his beloved Blues took on Southampton.
