Stowmarket probation officer, 28, denies perverting course of justice

A Stowmarket probation officer has denied perverting the course of public justice and neglecting her duty.
Laura Nicholls, 28, of Fuller Way, pleaded not guilty to the two offences in an Ipswich Crown Court hearing yesterday morning.
A trial date has not been set.
Nicholls has been accused of providing a knowingly false witness statement over an incident in Bury St Edmunds sometime between March and September last year.
The charge of misconduct relates to an incident between June and October last year in Thurston.
