The Food Museum, in Stowmarket, Easter holiday celebrations planned including international cooking workshops and Easter trails
A raft of Easter celebrations will be afoot at one Suffolk museum, including the chance to bake your own hot cross buns.
From March 28 to April 11 The Food Museum, in Stowmarket, will host events celebrating holiday traditions from around the globe.
Guests can enjoy cooking workshops, Easter trails and the venue’s range of wildlife encounters, including being able to hold and feed its spring animals.
Every day over the holiday customers can create their own hot cross buns and have them baked in The Food Museum’s outdoor bread oven.
International cooking workshops on April 2, 5 and 9 will offer customers the chance to learn to bake Middle Eastern pastries, Ukrainian breads and Mexican sweet treats, using recipes crafted in collaboration from local communities.
There will also be an Easter feast on the final Sunday, April 7, with a menu featuring produce from on site as well as local producers.
The venue’s taster kitchen will have new samples inspired by Easter foods on offer throughout the holiday.
More information and tickets can be found on The Food Museum’s website.
