A1120 in Stowupland near Stowmarket closed and driver taken to hospital after collision between lorry and van

A road is closed and a driver has been taken to hospital following a collision between a lorry and a van.

Police were called at just before 3.20pm to reports of a crash on the A1120 in Stowupland, off the A14.

A Suffolk Police spokesperson said a van had ended up in a ditch and the driver was taken to hospital by ambulance.

It is not believed they suffered injuries that were life-threatening.

The incident is still ongoing and officers are at the scene.

Recovery has been arranged.
