A140 outside Mendlesham partially blocked after two crashes

A Suffolk road has been closed following two crashes on the same road this morning.

Police were called at 7.55am to the A140 outside Mendlesham, near Stowmarket, for the first collision and are currently on the scene.

There is queuing traffic both ways from Cedars Hill to the Brockford Green turn off.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Police said officers were called to the second crash at 8.10.
