Bury Road near Hitcham reopens after car overturns in crash

A car flipped onto its side in Suffolk this morning which caused a road to be closed for around two hours.

Police were called to Bury Road near Hitcham, between Stowmarket and Hadleigh, at 8am today following reports of a single-vehicle crash.

The car had overturned on a bend in the road — however, no injuries were reported.

The road was closed until around 10.30am before recovery arrived and debris on the road was removed.
