Firefighters from Stowmarket rescue puppy from concrete hole within fence in Old Newton

A puppy was rescued by firefighters after it got stuck in a concrete hole within a fence.

A fire engine from Stowmarket was sent to a home in Copperfield Way, Old Newton, shortly before 7pm yesterday.

Using small tools and lights, firefighters were able to free the stuck puppy and return it to their owner.

The crew left the scene at 7.48pm.
