Freight train fault in Stowmarket affecting Suffolk rail users between Ipswich and Cambridge, Norwich and Peterborough

Suffolk rail users are experiencing delays after a freight train fault.
Greater Anglia posted on X saying that, due to the issue at Stowmarket, some lines are blocked.
Trains running through the station may be delayed and disruption is expected until further notice.
The Ipswich to Cambridge, Norwich and Peterborough routes are all affected.
Engineers are in contact with the driver of the freight train to have it moved away from passenger lines as soon as possible.
