Suffolk schoolgirl misses out on Britain's Got Talent final

A 10-year old girl from Bury St Edmunds has seen her Britain's Got Talent journey draw to a close, after failing to reach the final.

Singer Souparnika Nair was relying on the public vote to see her through to the final of the ITV show, but unfortunately did not make the cut.

Back in May, the Sebert Wood Primary School pupil wowed judges and audiences alike with her rendition of Never Enough from film The Greatest Showman.

After getting all the way to the semi-finals, she brought the audience to their feet with her performance of Neverland by Zendaya, but missed out on automatic qualification, leaving her with a one final shot at the final through the public vote.

During the show’s final this evening, the five contestants voted for by the public where revealed, but sadly Souparnika was not one of them.
