Food Museum in Stowmarket to host Bonfire Night Celebration recognised by Timeout as one of UK’s best fireworks events
A town museum is gearing up for its annual fireworks display which was named one of the UK's top Bonfire Night events by Timeout.
The Food Museum in Stowmarket is hosting its Bonfire Night Celebration on Saturday, November 2 offering a family-friendly evening of fireworks, fairground amusements and a roaring bonfire.
Visitors can also enjoy a range of food options from more than 10 local vendors and the museum’s café offering loaded fries, hog roasts, poke bowls, jacket potatoes, macaroni and cheese and wood-fired pizza.
Timeout listed the event among its 13 best Bonfire Night celebrations and firework displays in the UK.
Gates open at 6pm with food trucks, snack bars and fairground attractions being open throughout the evening, with the fireworks display taking place at 7.30pm.

Tickets can also be bought at the museum’s shop, however residents are being advised to secure their tickets early as the event often sells out quickly.
Standard ticket prices are £7 for adults, £5 for children aged 4-16, with free entry for children aged 0-3.
Early Bird tickets are available until 20 October, priced at £6 for adults, £4 for children aged 4-16, and free for children aged 0-3.
