Town and District Councillor Keith Scarff said: “You want a good network of defibrillators as time is really crucial when they are needed.

“We’re also funding another one at Woodfield bowls club .”

Electrician Bob Taylor installed the defibrillator free of charge to support the community endeavour.

Colin said: “I think it’s brilliant for us and it’s a great addition to the site.

“The defibrillators have really advanced in the last few years, it now tells you exactly what to do and records a lot of the information for the paramedics - but we do hope it never gets used.”
