Stowmarket’s fireworks event to go ahead at Food Museum this weekend
A town’s fireworks event is set to go ahead as planned despite many events being cancelled and postponed around the county.
The Food Museum in Stowmarket will be hosting its Bonfire Night Celebrations on Saturday, November 4 from 6pm to 8.30pm.
Concerns of bad weather in Suffolk has resulted in displays in Hadleigh, Halesworth, Lakenheath and Barrow near Bury St Edmunds not taking place this weekend.
The Stowmarket event will include a large bonfire, a firework display, fairground amusements and a stream engine in action.
It promises to be an evening for all families to enjoy with a range of food trucks and snack bars offering hog roasts, burgers, hot dogs, waffles, doughnuts and sweets.
The bonfire night event has been rated one of the best in the UK by Time Out and tickets to attend cost £6 for adults and £4 for children.
