A14 traffic stopped between Woolpit and Haughley, near Stowmarket, after multi-vehicle collision




Traffic has stopped on part of the A14 in Suffolk after a multi-vehicle collision.

There are long delays following the crash on the major route heading eastbound between junction 47 in Woolpit and junction 48 in Haughley.

A spokesperson for National Highways East said emergency services are at the scene.

There is an hour delay on approach.

Motorists have been advised to consider alternative routes.

According to the AA map, there is very slow traffic in the area, backing up to Beyton, near Bury St Edmunds.
