Rishangles: burglar smashes window to gain entry to rural home and steal 'jewellery, silverware, a mountain bike and china plates'




Police have appealed to the public for witnesses or information relating to a burglary at a rural home in which numerous valuables were stolen.

Sometime between 1pm on Sunday and 11am Monday, an unknown offender or offenders forced entry in to a home just off the B1077 in Rishangles near Eye, by smashing a bathroom window.

Once inside the home, an untidy search was undertaken, in which various items were stolen - including a pink mountain bike, silverware, china plates and jewellery.

A garden shed at the location was also broken into.

Anybody who saw anyone behaving suspiciously in the vicinity or or have any information relating to this crime are asked to contact Suffolk Police East CID DC Lee Cudmore quoting crime reference 37/24045/21.
