Nicola Jones of Needham Market pleads not guilty following alleged stabbing in Leveret Gardens, Stowmarket
A 60-year-old woman has pleaded not guilty after being arrested alongside her 26-year-old son following an alleged stabbing.
Nicola Jones, 60, of Freehold Road, Needham Market, appeared at Ipswich Crown Court today where she denied wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm after a man was reportedly stabbed in Leveret Gardens, Stowmarket, on February 2.
Her son Simon Jones, 26, of the same address, faces the same charge as well as possession of a knife in a public place — however, he was unable to enter pleas via video link due to technical issues.
Mr Jones, who remains in custody, is now scheduled to enter his pleas on March 18 while Ms Jones has been released on conditional bail.
