Julia said: “It is such a lovely venue and the views are wonderful.

“We chose the name La Vista, meaning ‘the view’ in English, as it really is special. You could really believe you were in Tuscany.”

The couple will offer traditional, rustic dishes.

Julia said: “The menu will be the culmination of 25 years experience and long stays in the various regions of Italy.

“Our goal is to serve very traditional dishes which rely on simplicity, taste, flavour and genuine Italian ingredients to make them outstanding.

“As all our food is produced by us from raw ingredients, we know exactly what’s in it.

“Without an additive in sight, it not only tastes good but does you good. We hope people will also like our homemade desserts.

“We will also offer drinks at the wine bar.”

The Buxhall Crown has been a licenced premises since 1888.
