The Archdeacon of Sudbury is undertaking another year-long running challenge along with colleagues from the Church of England in aid of Ipswich Night Shelter.

Dr David Jenkins, who plans to run five half marathons and five 10k races over the course of a year, is preparing for the 13.1-mile course at Great Bentley on Sunday.

As well as funding, David said he hopes to raise the profile of the night shelter, which provides overnight accommodation to homeless people during winter.

The group can be sponsored at uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/david15.
