Armed police called to Great Cornard near Sudbury

Three people have been arrested after armed police swooped onto a street in a village near Sudbury.

Officers were called to Raydon Way, in Great Cornard, at 2.59pm after reports that someone was in possession of a gun.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Constabulary confirmed three people have been arrested following the incident.

They added it was a BB gun they were holding.
