An artist has transformed her village into a giant advent calendar by unveiling a new painting every day before Christmas.
The pictures have appeared one by one in windows around the green in Cavendish.
Artist Judy Kemp asked her neighbours to display them so that fellow villagers and children from Cavendish Primary School could enjoy spotting them.
The paintings depict the 12 days of Christmas, says Judy, who lives on The Green with her husband Brian.
“We’ve got the first one, a partridge in a pear tree, in our window,” she said. “But I think the 10 drummers drumming is the one I was most pleased with. We’ll leave them up until the 12th night.”
