Barn in Pentlow reduced to rubble after major fire
This is the dramatic scene after a blaze this morning, which reduced a barn in Pentlow to blackened rubble.
The whole building was alight in Pentlow Lane when firefighters arrived on the scene, shortly after midnight.
A number of cylinders were quickly removed from the structure, before being cooled to ensure they were safe on site.
The blaze was contained at 2.30am by two Halstead fire crews, who were supported by four crews from Suffolk Fire Rescue Service.
Nobody is believed to have been hurt as a result of the incident.
The cause of the blaze, which is not yet known, is under investigation.
