Body found in search for missing Sudbury man Samuel Gillett
A body has been found in the search for a missing man from Sudbury.
Police discovered the body at 11am this morning, near the River Stour, off Ballingdon Street.
Pending formal identification, the body is believed to be that of 48-year-old Samuel Gillett, who was last seen on Sunday, March 27.
The death is being treated as unexplained, but a spokesperson for Suffolk Constabulary said 'police do not currently believe there are any suspicious circumstances.'
His next of kin have been informed.
A police cordon is currently in place while officers carry out enquiries.
A file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.
