A Suffolk brewery has continued its expansion with the appointment of a new sales chief.

The business is continuing its growth after doubling in size towards the end of last year with the opening of its new ‘Birch Building’ cold store.

Mauldons Brewery forms part of the Nedging Hall Estate.

Mr Sheffield said: “I am immensely proud to join Mauldons Brewery as head of sales. It’s an exciting time to be joining as the business looks to grow.

“Not only is it set to be one of the most successful breweries in Suffolk, but perhaps, more importantly, it’s one of the most sustainable breweries in the UK.

“I can see Mauldons going from strength to strength, and I can’t wait to be a part of it.”

The brewery uses a ‘barley-to-bottle ethos’ using grain from the Nedging Hall Estate’s farms for its produce.

It has also recently introduced complimentary trade brewery tours.

The new cold store, opened in October, allows the brewery to future-proof its ales and beers on site. It is planning to introduce electric delivery vans.
