The charity which helps children with special needs has been named in honour of schoolgirl Teigan Rose Bayliss, 13, of Great Whelnetham, near Bury St Edmunds.

Teigan, who attends Hillside Special School, in Sudbury, was diagnosed with quadriplegic cerebral palsy after contracting menigitis - after being kissed by someone with a cold sore when she was a baby.

Her parents Tony and Beckie Bayliss, who set up the charity, are on the hunt for volunteers able to help at the event.

They are promising spectators an ‘exhilarating day’, with more celebrities set to be announced.

Anyone who is able to volunteer at the match, or who can donate a raffle prize, should get in touch with Tony and Beckie via the TeiganSmile Facebook page.
