Money raised to give a child with a terminal brain tumour a magical last few months is being used to support even more children after her death.

The Magical Millie Fund raised thousands of pounds for Millie Brown, from Halstead, who died from the condition in October.

The funds were raised to give Millie special days out, including a VIP visit to Disneyland Paris to meet her princess heroes, as well day trips to Peppa Pig World and a One Direction concert.

The family said any money left over would be used to benefit other children, with this legacy already started.

Grants have been given to children’s wards at Colchester Hospital and Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

A pirate galleon playhouse has also been bought by the family for The Park Pre-school in Halstead which Millie attended.
