Councillor ashamed at lack of attendance

Mid Suffolk councillor Rachel Eburne, who co-chairs the joint scrutiny committee, said she was “ashamed to be a councillor” after seven Babergh district councillors failed to turn up to a meeting on Wednesday.

The meeting had to be cancelled due to the lack of attendance.
