Sudbury Great Eastern Road to close for over two weeks for urgent repairs with delays expected

Motorists have been warned to expect delays as a key town road will be closed for more than two weeks next month for urgent repairs.

Great Eastern Road in Sudbury will be shut from the roundabout to Station Road between April 3 and April 21.

According to One Network live roadworks map, the closure will allow for urgent drainage works to take place, including replacing broken pipes, gullies and ironworks.

Work, which is being carried out by Suffolk County Council, is expected to cause some delays.
