Sudbury dog owners urged to remain vigilant after broken glass bottles strewn in Friars Meadow
Dog walkers have been warned to remain vigilant after litter and broken glass were strewn in a Sudbury park.
Suffolk Police said it was made aware on Friday of broken bottles being placed upside down in Friars Meadow.
Litter was also present, a spokesperson for the force said.
Officers have urged park-goers to pick up their rubbish after they visit the site.
Dog walkers were also reminded to be on their guard to prevent harm to themselves or their pets.
“The meadows and river are for all to enjoy and attract lots of visitors this time of year,” the spokesperson said.
“Pick up your rubbish.”
