Elderly man faces driving charges

A 78-year-old man has been charged with driving offences after a collision in Sible Hedingham.

Bruce Gunn Bannerman, of Poole Street in Great Yeldham, has been charged with driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and with driving without due care and attention, following the crash in Swan Street on October 28 last year.

He has been bailed to appear before Colchester Magistrates Court on May 7.
