Emergency services called after car crashes into tree on B1071 in Lavenham




Emergency services have been called after a car crashed into a tree.

Police were alerted by the ambulance service to the collision on the B1071 in Lavenham at 2.10pm.

Firefighters were requested to help remove a person from the vehicle.

A police spokesperson said a female was out of the car.

Recovery has been called.

An ambulance and rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene.

The driver of the car, a woman, was taken to West Suffolk Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
