There will also be loaded fries, mac ‘n’ cheese, pizza and hot dogs, and for sweet lovers there will be everything from whippy ice creams, bubble waffles, donuts and candy floss to traditional and locally-made sorbets and ice cream.

The bar, seating, music and family-friendly activities will be provided by Sudbury Arts Centre, which will be serving a range of hot and cold drinks with beer from Nethergate Brewery and coffee supplied by local business The Barista Shed.

Mayor of Sudbury, Cllr Alison Owen, said: “We are pleased to see so many cultures coming to our beautiful town bringing authentic cuisines for all to enjoy. So please come down and support Sudbury’s first Street Food Festival.”

Rachel Price, business manager for Sudbury Town Council, said: “There really is something for everybody at our inaugural Street Food Festival, we felt it was time to bring together some of the excellent food businesses we have locally.
