Firefighters attend blaze inside home in Great Cornard near Sudbury




Firefighters were called to a blaze inside a home in a Suffolk village this morning.

Three crews attended the incident at a two-storey house in Rede Way, Great Cornard near Sudbury this morning after a cupboard caught on fire.

The blaze was extinguished by 10.26am after firefighters were called to the scene at 9.48am.

Residents in the home were unharmed and were safely out of the house when the fire service arrived.

According to a spokesperson for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service, the area is currently being made safe.
