Fire service called to smoke issuing from plug socket at Sudbury Art and Framing Centre, in Friars Street

Fire crews were called to a town centre business this morning after smoke issued from a plug socket

Two engines attended the incident at Sudbury Art and Framing Centre, in Friars Street, at 9.56am.

Firefighters isolated the power and made the scene safe.

No damage was caused.
