Firefighters alerted to kitchen fire at property in Elm Road, Sudbury

Firefighters were called to a kitchen fire at a property in Sudbury.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue was alerted to the fire in Elm Road just after 3pm.

Three crews from Colchester, Sudbury and Clare used hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.

A spokesperson for the fire service said the crews dealt with a small kitchen fire.

There are no reported injuries.

A stop was called at 3.37pm.
