Firefighters battle bin lorry blaze at Bull Lane Industrial Estate, in Acton, near Sudbury

Firefighters battled a blaze in a bin lorry at a village industrial estate this morning.

The incident was at the Bull Lane Industrial Estate, Acton, near Sudbury, at around 9.40am.

The waste in the lorry had caught fire, but the vehicle itself was not alight.

The fire service dispatched two crews to the scene.

One crew remained on site while the refuse company arranged for the waste to be removed.

The incident was closed at 11.58am.
