Firefighters alerted to fire at Nestle Purina Petcare on the Chilton Industrial Estate, in Sudbury

Firefighters were alerted to a fire at a pet food factory in a Suffolk town.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue was called to Nestle Purina Petcare, on the Chilton Industrial Estate, in Sudbury, at 3.36pm.

Crews from Clochester, Sudbury and Clare tackled the blaze, which was within a blower unit.

All workers were accounted for.

A stop was called just before 6pm.
