See inside Sudbury's new Jilani Indian restaurant after grand opening yesterday

A new restaurant that opened its doors yesterday evening is promising 'majestic Indian dining' for its customers.

Jilani, located in North Street, Sudbury, celebrated its grand opening last night and visitors took a first look at the fully refurbished interior.

The eatery has opened in the building of the former India restaurant which bagged the Best Restaurant in Suffolk Award in the Euro Asia Curry Awards 2021.

In images posted to the restaurant's social media pages, the new interior includes large circle dining booths, modern lighting and impressive wall decor.

A delivery service is also available from Jilani for orders within a five mile radius.

Sudbury residents have taken to Facebook to leave comments about the new restaurant and one said: "Wow wow wow! Looks great!"

Another wrote: "We had a meal here tonight fantastic food great flavours. Few little hiccups as any first night but will be back 100 per cent."
