Fire crews from Princes Street, Nayland and Long Melford called to stuck cow in Bures Road, Great Cornard




Four fire engines have attended a cow that was stuck in a river, to find it had already freed itself.

The cow was stuck in the water off Bures Road in Great Cornard, Sudbury.

Two crews from Princes Street, one from Nayland and one from Long Melford were called to the scene at 11.53am today, to find the cow had managed to escape.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue sometimes sends multiple crews to ensure all the equipment needed for a rescue is in place.
