Perrywood Sudbury wins accolades in National Garden Centre Association Christmas Competition 2022




A Sudbury garden centre has been named amongst the best in the country in a festive competition.

Perrywood in Newton Road won second place in the garden centre category at the National Garden Centre Association Christmas Competition 2022.

The business also bagged the best Christmas displays in the North Thames Region award in the garden centre category.

The Garden Centre Association (GCA) visits each business that enters the competition and judges their displays including their Christmas decorations, lighting, food and giftware.

Businesses can also gain points for good marketing and festive ambience.

Steve Wrobel, manager at Perrywood Sudbury, said: “Our ‘Step Back in Time’ themed Christmas displays have been very popular this year.

"We love to see customers enjoying a magical nostalgic journey through some of Britain’s best-loved decades.

"We are delighted that the GCA judge recognised the huge effort our team has made to create such showstopping displays."

Perrywood Tiptree won best Christmas displays in East Anglia and second place in the North Thames Region in the larger destination garden centre category.
